On a freezing day last winter we wrapped up in every layer we could for a long cold walk to see the grey seals ( the ferry trips cancelled due to Covid). It was absolutely wonder to see the seals but what I took away was this weather vane against the dramatic sky and this will always remind me of the seal. I’m looking forward to working on the full size version.
