When we lived in Balham, south London, I spent many hours on Tooting Common exercising, cycling and sunbathing.  Even though it wasn't the countryside,  panoramic skys could still be very special across the city's vast green spaces. Our house formed a skyline and a frame.

We're in Norfolk now, where there are even bigger skys but it's not quite the same.
