The Happisburgh lighthouse is a tribute to the volunteers who saved it from closure by Trinity House and are maintaining it to an exemplary standard. There's more about it on this link.
But I am fascinated by the perilous nature of the crumbly Norfolk coast and the barriers that are necessary along the cliff to protect the public. Thankfully it still seems a long way from the edge and this 200 year-old marvel will still by guiding mariners for many more years.
